Toran San no Yume
Shooting Location: Chinatown, LA
Concept: The visual recreation, through a serias of composed tableaux, of a dream. In this case, the dreamer (also the subject of the photographs) vividly recalled chasing a red scarf through a post-apocalyptic world, in which escalators took a distinctly sinister cast. The project idea was inspired by Akira Kurosawa's film, Yume (Dreams).
